enso stands for electronica naturescapes set onslow, a new imprint set up by romanian up n coming artist maruntelu. in zen buddhism, an enso is a circle that is hand-drawn in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create. and this is exactly what enso label is all about: sheer talent and creativity. hailing from bragadiru, romania, maruntelu is one of those well hidden gems of which there are so many within the emerging romanian electronica scene.

void coms is a label inspired by the work and theories of yves klein. kleins work revolved around a zen influenced concept he came to describe as *le vide* (the void). kleins void is a nirvana-like state that is void of worldly influences, a neutral zone where one is inspired to pay attention to ones own sensibilities, and to reality as opposed to representation. we hope to apply these ideas to the musical and identity approach of the label, letting powerful music speak above persuasive imagery & enticing embellishments.

toolbox is so proud of this wax. i discover somatic responses with their very first ep on cfet, and i still dig for any of their music. whatever it was with cavage, with ant-zen or with dbn. but its true to say techno became more and more rare with them. and this time we hang on with four unrealesed techno and hardcore tunes from somatic responses! the sound is just acid and crazy of course, but this is not oldschool, this is music, probably the best musical ep on acid night.
